“Things just keep changing”- Bianca Belair is concerned about the uncertainty of opponents she’s facing during her title reigns

Bianca Belair

Bianca Belair won the Raw Women’s Championship from Becky Lynch back at this year’s Wrestlemania and since then the EST of WWE has been untouchable as no one has been able to overcome her so far. Although she’s enjoying a successful run currently, one weird thing about her title runs have been the sudden change of her opponents just days before her match due to some undeniable circumstances.

For instance, last year when she was the Smackdown Women’s Champion and was feuding Bayley over the title, the two women were scheduled for their third match at Money in the Bank with an “I Quit” stipulation being plugged with it, Bayley unfortunately suffered a torn ACL due to which she was pulled out of the match.

Taking the most recent case and that again of Money in the Bank event, Belair was originally scheduled to defend her Raw Women’s Championship against Rhea Ripley but two weeks later after Ripley earned the right to face her, she too suffered some sort of injury due to which she was taken off the match.

Currently, Bianca Belair is set to battle her fierce rival Becky Lynch in a rematch for the Raw Women’s Championship in less than 2 weeks at Summerslam emanating from Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee.

Bianca Belair’s feud with Bayley was an essential lesson for her career

The EST of WWE is destined for greatness and there’s absolutely no doubt over her in-ring capabilities as she had also proven her worth delivering outstanding performers one after another. One of her career highlights came last year at Wrestlemania when she main-evented Night 1 with Sasha Banks for the Smackdown Women’s Championship and won the title from The Boss after a back and forth grueling contest.

Bianca Belair recently spoke on Hot 97 Radio and discussed the sudden change of her opponents momentarily before the scheduled matches and described the current situation as if she isn’t sure of who’s next she’s gonna face for that title.

“At this point, I have no idea who I’ll be facing at any particular time. Things just keep changing, that’s been the story. When I was SmackDown Women’s Champion, things kept changing. My opponent was supposed to be this person. Now I’m RAW Women’s Champion and the same thing is happening.”
