Bianca Belair since her main roster debut has manged to impress one and all, Belair became the first black women in the history of the company to win the Royal Rumble match and only the second black wrestler after The Rock to do so. WWE in the late 90’s and early 2000’s would often have female wrestlers get physically involved with the male performers in the ring. One of the most famous instances is when the ‘Ninth wonder of the world’ Chyna would face the likes of Chris Jericho, Eddie Guerrero and Jeff Jarrett during the late 90’s and early 2000’s, but these instances have substantially decreased after the product was made PG.
Bianca Belair Speaking on Sports Illustrated’s Laces Up, opened up about the possibility of intergender matches in WWE and her thoughts on participating in an intergender match :
“I would love to. I mean I am a fan of Chyna, I am a fan of Beth Phoenix, the women who have done it before and gotten in the ring with men. So, I would love to. But right now, I will say our women’s division is stacked enough,” she said.
Belair stated that women like Chyna and Beth Phoenix have done it in the past and there is no reason why she wouldn’t be open for it. Although it’s a rare occasion for intergender occurrence’s in WWE the most recent instance that comes to mind is when Happy Corbin hit his finisher on Becky Lynch during a match and also when Nia Jax was eliminated in the Royal Rumble after eating a 619, Rko and superkick. The possibility of intergender matches in WWE is quite rare but would be fun to watch if some thing of that sort happens.
