Kevin Owens is one of the best sports entertainers cum wrestler in WWE. He’s considered as one of the best NXT call-ups till date and he’s proved his worth every single day for the company by delivering plenty of splendid performances in recent years. The biggest night of The Prizefighter’s entire career came this year when he main-evented Night 1 of Wrestlemania 38 against a returning legend “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and which was Austin’s first formal match in 19 years.
Although, Owens lost the match after going through an unbelievable period of 14 minutes with the greatest of all time, he sure as hell earned tons of respect from the entire WWE Universe for his incredible work especially due to carrying that storyline single-handedly heading into the show.
After he rapped up his business with Austin, the former NXT Champion started an interesting angle with Elias’ younger brother Ezekiel who was actually Elias only but was impersonating like his brother and was refusing to acknowledge himself as Elias despite multiple efforts from Kevin Owens who was adamant on proving that Ezekiel and Elias were the exact same person. However after several weeks, the story met an unexplained ending with Owens stating that he had made up his mind about moving forward from that crappy pursuit of unveiling the reality of his aforementioned counterpart.
Kevin Owens has some big plans currently planned for
Ever since Triple H headed WWE creative, he’s definitely trying to make the product as compelling as it’s ever been and it can be done by maintaining the spotlight on deserving superstars, doing fresh matches and make the storylines more intense. We all know how far Kevin Owens can go as far as storytelling is concerned and Triple H is now going all out for cooking major plans for one of his former NXT guys once again according to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select.
“This left many wondering where Owens was, and what was going on with him. With repeated references over the years of Owens being a “Triple H guy,” fans expected him to be heavily featured on the program. We’ve not heard of an injury or anything of the like. Instead, we’re told that creative is being cooked up for him for plans moving forward.”
