Huge update on Bianca Belair’s immediate future in WWE after The Damage CTRL viciously attacked her on SmackDown
The EST of WWE will not be a constant on SmackDown in the foreseeable future. She has taken a significant time off from wrestling.

Two weeks ago on SmackDown, The Damage CTRL mauled Bianca Belair in a massive beatdown backstage. Earlier on, the duo of Women’s Champion Iyo Sky and Bayley had lost to Charlotte Flair and Bianca Belair. Quite possibly, the villainous trio vented out their frustration over the EST of WWE. However, it wasn’t clarified by then whether Belair’s beating was to aggravate the storyline.
That said, an update has now emerged on the same. Per Fightful Select, that angle was done to write Bianca Belair off television. She’s not injured by any means, nor is there any other issue. She always planned to have some time off at this point. The exact period of Belair’s hiatus isn’t certain, as it’s currently ranging anywhere from a couple of weeks to a probable three months.
Over the past year, the EST has been the torchbearer of WWE’s Women’s Division. As the champion, she has not only worked tirelessly to defend her crown but has also attended numerous media events for the company. As noted, the 34-year-old has enormous goodwill among wrestling fans. She’s massively liked by teenagers as well, which further helps WWE to let her thrive as a babyface.
Although a potential heel turn for Bianca was recently talked about, it’s unknown at this point whether she’d be on board with the idea. Nonetheless, it’s high time for her to put all the agony in the rearview mirror and enjoy her well-deserved break from WWE. Until she’s off the road, other women will need to step up their game in order to pose a viable threat to Iyo Sky on SmackDown.
Charlotte Flair thinks her match against Bianca Belair will definitely happen

As Bianca Belair keeps elevating her status in WWE, she’ll eventually have to cross paths with the very best around there. And, just as everyone knows, Charlotte Flair is arguably the barrier Belair would need to conquer. That said, The Queen was recently asked about what she thinks of a potential showdown with the EST down the road. Speaking to Josh Martinez, Flair spoke pretty highly of the idea.
Charlotte chuckled, saying that she always gets asked about the same thing. “Like, obviously, I know Belair vs. Flair is a main event-worthy match, but if it doesn’t happen at [WrestleMania] 40, it’s going to happen at 41. If it doesn’t happen at 41, it’s going to happen at 42.” Going by the Queen’s wording, she’s quite high on her inevitable outing with Bianca Belair. These women have come across each other multiple times. However, they have yet to throw daggers at each other.
