One of the most important entities in WWE, Vince McMahon, has been surrounded by controversy for years. It was heard in June that a lawsuit had been filed against WWE and Vince in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. The case was filed by a person named Dana Wiley. However, it has been reported that the court has dismissed the case.
According to PWInsider, US Magistrate Judge Patricia L. Dodge recommended that the court case against McMahon and WWE be dismissed. It was a bizarre breach of contract lawsuit, as Dana claimed that McMahon breached a contract of employment where he was approved of being a WWE employee for a $75,000 salary. However, Vince committed a breach and failed to reimburse $5500.
Moreover, Dany has also tried to sue McMahon before, alongside the members of DX and nWo. He claimed that he had a fair use contract for the trademarks of the two factions in 1995. Wiley’s claims this time were dismissed by the court after keeping the proper evidence in mind.
It needs to be noted that Dany Wiley was sentenced to prison in 1995 for armed robbery. For now, WWE has put aside the claims of incarcerated individuals. It is going to be interesting to see the outcome of the case. Vince McMahon has been involved in several controversies for years now. This case adds up to another lawsuit against McMahon in his list of cases.
Vince McMahon has no intentions of leaving WWE
Ever since WWE merged with the UFC to form TKO, everyone has had one question in mind, and that is about Vince McMahon leaving WWE. Although there have been numerous hints about the departure of McMahon from the company, a report from Sports Illustrated suggests that Vince has no intentions of leaving WWE.
It is mentioned clearly in the report that Vince won’t be leaving WWE anytime soon. His departure rumors surfaced on the internet when he sold a large amount of his company shares a couple of weeks ago.
Even so, he has distanced himself from the WWE creative. Vince has been an important personality in WWE and will be one in the future moving forward as well.
