Whoop Theory’s a** again – Bobby Lashley states that he is ready to defeat Theory once again at SummerSlam

Bobby Lashley has been one of the most powerful and dominant personalities in WWE. Bobby Lashley is currently in his third reign as the United States Champion and looks forward to retain his Championship at SummerSlam. Bobby Lashley had won the United States Championship for the first time in 2006, when he defeated JBL on an edition of SmackDown. The United States Championship was the first professional wrestling championship that Lashley had ever won in his career as a wrestler. Bobby won it the second time when he defeated Apollo Crews at Payback in 2020.

Bobby Lashley’s first run in the company was from 2005 to 2008, during which he became a 2-time ECW World Champion and 1-time United States Champion. Thereafter Lashley wrestled around the Independent circuit and also wrestled at TNA/Impact wrestling promotion before returning to WWE in 2018. During his time at TNA/Impact, he has been a 4-time TNA/Impact World Heavyweight Champion. Bobby Lashley has been a 2-time WWE Champion and he achieved this feat after his return to WWE in 2018.

Bobby Lashley defeated Theory at the Money in the Bank Premium Live event

After the Theory successfully retained the United States Championship at this year’s Hell in a Cell, He was challenged by Bobby Lashley on RAW for the United States Championship bout at MITB Live event.

At the event, Bobby Lashley dominated Theory in the initial stages of the match and even delivered a massive Spinebuster by lifting up Theory. Theory then managed to get hold of Lashley by locking him into the headlock but Bobby managed to fire back by delivering a powerslam. Towards the end of the match, Theory tried to pull off an ATL on Bobby but he managed to escape and forced Theory to submit to the Hurt Lock to win the United States championship.

The following week on RAW Theory announced that he would get his rematch for the Championship and now it has been scheduled at SummerSlam. Bobby Lashley is set to defend his title at SummerSlam and he took today he took to twitter to send a message to Theory. Bobby said that there are only 13 days left for his title defense and that he is ready to defeat Theory again at SummerSlam for the second time.

“13 days til I defend MY #USTitle and whoop @_Theory1’s a** again!! LET’S GO!” Bobby wrote.”

SummerSlam will take place on July 30th at Nissan Stadium, Nashville, Tennessee.
