Every wrestler who steps foot in the WWE ring has a dream of competing at WrestleMania. When it comes to already-established stars like Bobby Lashley, one might not think of leaving him out of the matchcard. However, WWE left him out of the WrestleMania 39 card due to an unavoidable circumstance. This move from WWE hit him hard, like a tragedy.

When WWE was on the road to WrestleMania 39, countless reports suggested that Bobby Lashley was up for a program against Bray Wyatt. Fans saw their feud on SmackDown a few weeks before Mania. However, it didn’t come to fruition as Wyatt encountered serious health issues. As a result, Lashley’s WrestleMania plans were scrapped.

Moreover, Bobby Lashley stated that he has maintained a level in the company and has been working according to the standards he set. He revealed that the saddest part of it was answering his children’s questions about whether to book tickets to Los Angeles.

If you’re talking about the last break I took… the situation involving WrestleMania kind of really, really hit me pretty hard. I’d put in a lot of work throughout the year. And when that big show came around, I just didn’t have a spot at WrestleMania.

For those who don’t know, Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits faced The Judgment Day back in September 2023. When Finn Balor, Damian Priest, and Dominik Mysterio appeared on SmackDown, the trio soon interrupted them. However, since then, there has been no interaction among them. It would be interesting to see if their rivalry would unfold in the future.
