WWE delivered a fantastic first SmackDown for 2024. Just like Raw Day One, this show also had a massive return. It was the return of Karrion Kross and he was joined by the returning team, Authors of Pain. Their return happened at the cost of inflicting pain on Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits. It seems the incident has lit a fire of determination in The All-Mighty.

A WWE Exclusive video shows the team of Lashley and Profits sitting in the dark and reflecting on the incident. They were joined by former Hit Row member, B-fab, who wanted to raise their morale. The 34-year-old star reminded them how it was a cheap shot and that there is always a scope for retaliation.

AOP made their return by interrupting the promo of Lashley and Profits. They laid waste to the team and were soon joined by Kross to seal the deal. The return by the AOP was long due as they had been signed by the Stamford-based company a while ago.

It seems that WWE Creative has finally identified the right spot for them. The return of AOP has been in the pipeline for quite a long time. Meanwhile, it would also cater to giving a direction to the stable led by The All-Mighty. It has been a long time since they ventured into a meaningful rivalry.

Sometimes people have the ‘it’ factor. I feel like I had that when I first came around. If you talk about who a wrestler is, and you see me walking down the airport or something like that, you will say, ‘That guy is somebody.

Additionally, the former WWE Champion stated how he had put in everything from the time he entered the business. From his perspective, it is this work ethic that has done wonders for him and brought him people’s love and attention.

On the other hand, it seems Lashley also took a shot at other superstars and the controversies that existed lately in the business.
