WWE Hall of Famer Booker T was under the public radar a few days ago, and it wasn’t for a good reason. He received a lot of criticism from fans for stirring up controversy with CM Punk on his podcast. King Booker finally came clean and expressed his opinion on the whole incident on social media.

Booker T took to X and got back to fans for making a mountain out of a molehill. Unfortunately, things went exactly as he feared. When he revealed something happened between him and CM Punk, he knew that fans would pick it up. He did not reveal what exactly happened but said that he’d talk about the incident at length off-air.

Fans also put up an argument, saying Booker himself was the one who brought this up. Meanwhile, the Second City Saint is making appearances despite being injured. Punk has not responded to the said incident in any capacity, nor does it look like he will. Since his return, he’s been a regular visitor to the performance center, training with rising stars like Bron Breakker and Carmelo Hayes.

Punk’s dream of wrestling in the main event of WrestleMania was shattered when he suffered a tricep injury at the hands of Drew McIntyre. Although he will miss the Show of Shows, he is scheduled to appear on the go-home episode Raw. Fans are excited to hear from The Best in the World about his plans in WWE.

AEW wrestler Dax Harwood admitted he misses CM Punk’s company

CM Punk returned to AEW after a seven-year hiatus from wrestling, much to the wrestling world’s happiness. However, it quickly turned ugly when rumors of his backstage fights with several wrestlers surfaced online. Punk had made many enemies during his run in AEW, but there were two wrestlers with whom he shared a great relationship.

FTR and Punk last wrestled on the August 12 episode of AEW Collision for the AEW Trios Championship. Unfortunately, they couldn’t win against the trio of Brody King, Buddy Matthews, and Malakai Black. It looks like CM Punk will never return to AEW and reunite with the duo.
