Bray Wyatt has gained worldwide popularity especially after his much teased return. Many sources revealed that the company had plans for this since the time when Vince McMahon was involved in the company. Bray Wyatt was one of those people who were released from the company during the covid 19 budget cuts.
When everyone thought that the return was complete and Bray would get to the ring very soon, WWE teased the audience more. From the teases, the audience is of the viewpoint that Bray would be playing 6 characters in the ring and thus the name Wyatt 6.
Bray has caused an earthquake in the entire wrestling industry. The WWE Superstars also have their set of praises for him. However, there was one person in the management who wasn’t happy with Bray Wyatt and punished him as revealed by Matt Hardy.
Matt spoke to the world in his ‘The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast’, where he revealed what relationship Bray Wyatt and Vince McMahon shared behind the lens. For Matt, the relationship was very weird and seemed like a father-son relationship.
Vince McMahon had a completely different behaviour towards Wyatt depending on his performance. If McMahon was happy with Bray, he would shower him with possibly everything he can give it to him. “He would bend over backwards to try and accommodate him,” said Matt Hardy.
Speaking about Vince’s reaction to something that Bray did but McMahon didn’t like, Matt said, “Oh my god, it was really bad, and he would like to punish him and insult him. To me, it was so strange. It was almost like a parent.“
Matt Hardy is impressed with Bray Wyatt
Matt Hardy is also impressed with Bray Wyatt’s performance in the ring. He called him an ‘out of the box thinker’. Apart from being a part of the wrestling industry, he is a very educated person beyond the ring. His other interests do not match with his in-ring gimmicks.
This is also one of the reasons for him being creative in his performances. Vince McMahon not realising the true potential of a superstar such as Bray Wyatt is a mistake on his part. Bray’s future run in WWE is bright as he sets the bar high for a big gimmick adoption in the ring.
