Bray Wyatt returned to WWE at Extreme Rules 2022, and since then fans have waited for his in-ring return. However, for weeks, Wyatt was only delivering heartfelt promos followed by cryptic Uncle Howdy messages that cut him off. But now, it seems like Wyatt will finally enter into his first legit feud upon return and no, it’s not against Uncle Howdy.

On the latest SmackDown in Indianapolis, Bray Wyatt dropped a teaser of his upcoming rivalry with LA Knight. During an interview with Megan Morant, Wyatt’s glitches distracted LA Knight on the monitor. This led him to express frustrations to the production crew. As Knight turned, Wyatt stood still in front of him.

Bray Wyatt tried his best to get inside Bray Wyatt’s head. He said, “I’ve been pretending that I’m not proud of the things that I do. I don’t know how true that is anymore [laughs]. I know what it takes to give respect, and I’m asking you: how far are you willing to go?” (H/T- Wrestling INC)

Knight in return of Wyatt’s friendship mocked him of his old Firefly Funhouse gimmick and said that Wyatt should mind his own business and leave it on him where he ultimately wants to go. He further asked Wyatt to go back and “play with his little puppets” (referencing to the Firefly Funhouse characters).

Knight ultimately said that it’s his game and he knows how to play it. Wyatt’s attempt to get into the former Million Dollar Champion’s head did not go as planned. Hence, Wyatt resorted to something beyond verbal exchanges. He hit LA Knight with a headbutt, and walked off. This moment has undoubtedly laid the foundation of the beginning of his rivalry with Knight.
