Bray Wyatt’s Return at Extreme Rules paid tribute to Brodie Lee aka Luke Harper in a subtle fashion

Bray Wyatt and Brodie Lee (known as Luke Harper in WWE) were one of the closest friends as both had spent a considerable amount of time with each other during their run as The Wyatt Family in WWE. Brodie Lee’s unfortunate passing away in 2020 had a direct impact on Wyatt, as he was completely shattered on losing a close friend.

But from time to time Wyatt has tried to pay respects to his former partner and friend Lee whenever he has gotten an opportunity. Wyatt recently made an ecstatic and much awaited return to The Extreme Rules.

Bray Wyatt had the similar blue light theme as of Brodie Lee’s debut at AEW.

The opportunity was pretty big as Bray Wyatt was returning after a year-long hiatus from the company. Wyatt was shockingly let go off by the company in 2021, after which he later showed up at Extreme Rules when the show was about to go off-air.

While everyone lauded Wyatt’s return at the premium live event, only a handful were able to notice the beautiful tribute that Wyatt gave to his friend in heaven. Before the revelation of Wyatt all Firefly Funhouse characters were being shown up.

Interestingly the character of Abby The Witch was wearing a mask that was the same as the mask which Brodie Lee used to wear during his time in WWE as Luke Harper.

Also when Bray Wyatt finally made his entrance at Extreme Rules the light theme was kept the same as Brodie Lee’s light theme when he made his debut at AEW.

The light blue light theme that was kept as the entrance theme for Brodie Lee was adopted by Wyatt for his much awaited WWE return which goes on to show the amount of respect and love Wyatt has for Brodie.

Also, props should be given to WWE as well for allowing this to happen as Lee had been released from the company and was part of AEW when he bid farewell to the world but this indeed shows that Brodie Lee is still missed by the company.

Brodie Lee’s death came as a shock to many as he was close to many wrestlers on a personal level and was described as one the greatest wrestling dads.

Former WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan had said if there ever would be a Mount Rushmore of wrestling dads then Brodie Lee would be having a place there.

Well, Lee is surely in a better place now and would be smiling up from the heavens seeing his best friend return to the company and paying him a tribute like that.
