Goldberg is one of the strongest men ever to have set foot in the squared circle. The former Universal Champion hasn’t competed in any of the bouts since his loss at the Elimination Chamber against Roman Reigns this year. Many had speculated that the former Universal Champion might be done with wrestling, but he has recently squashed those rumors.

During a recent appearance on WWE’s The Bump, he stated that though his days are numbered, they are certainly not over yet. He had mentioned that he was constructing a gym in his large garage, maybe as a prelude to a potential comeback.

Even though Goldberg has had a great career, having won numerous world championships in his career, he has gained a reputation for being unsafe and dangerous in the ring. The most notorious incident of him being risky and hazardous in the ring occurred in 1999, when Bret Hart’s career was ended.

Due to the kick, Hart was diagnosed with post-concussion syndrome, and later that year he announced his retirement from wrestling.

Hart believes that Barry Horowitz deserves to be in the Hall of Fame because he can genuinely wrestle, whereas Goldberg could never do so. Hart feels that The Former Universal Champion got into the Hall of Fame for hurting everybody.

“I always thought that if Goldberg got into the Hall of Fame, then Horowitz should’ve gone into the Hall of Fame. Horowitz can actually wrestle. Goldberg never could. I think he got in there for hurting everybody he worked with,”

Barry Horowitz worked as a jobber in the WWE during the 90s and he is currently signed with AEW. He also returned to wresting in 2022, having not wrestled since 2013.
