Nikki and Brie Bella, The Bella Twins made their much anticipated return in this year’s women’s Royal Rumble match. However, both of them failed to clinch the win as it was the returning former UFC athlete Ronda Rousey who won and went on to challenge Charlotte Flair at Wrestlemania this year. Daniel Bryan aka Bryan Danielson recently revealed that their daughter was scared as she thought Brie Bella would die in the Royal Rumble.

The All Elite Wrestling star Bryan Danielson who left Vince McMahon’s business in April 2021 and signed with the rival company AEW months later – has spoken about his wife Brie Bella’s successful return in January’s Royal Rumble match, which their four-year-old daughter witnessed firsthand.

‘There was also this point where Ronda Rousey was beating on Brie in the corner,’ he exclusively told Metro.co.uk. “Oh dear girl, did you have so much fun?” I said as I cuddled our daughter in bed before she went to sleep. He then said, “She goes: Yeah… but I was scared Momma might pass away! I was like, oh my god! “No, no, no sweet girl, they’re just playing!” It broke my heart a little bit!“.

“Wow, that was a lot of fun!’ It was fantastic! But the best part was that our daughter was able to accompany her,’ Danielson added of his wife’s return to the ring. ‘I stayed with our son while our daughter was allowed to accompany her.’ Our daughter has witnessed Brie wrestle before, but she has no recollection of it. This is something she’ll never forget.“

Brie, on the other hand, did not receive the same reaction from their daughter, who quickly scolded her mother after the match for removing twin sister Nikki. Bryan said, “And it’s so funny. Brie eliminated Nicole from the Royal Rumble, and came back and the first thing our daughter said to her – she calls Nicole “Dodo”, she goes, “You need to apologise to Dodo!”
