Britt Baker vs Paige
Paige is one of the most famous divas wrestlers of WWE nowadays. She is the first-ever NXT Women’s Champion and won the Divas Championship on the same night she debuted on Raw in 2014 by defeating then-champion AJ Lee. She was also the general manager of Smackdown for a brief period of time in 2017 after Daniel Bryan became a full-time in-ring performer.
Britt Baker is a former AEW Women’s World Champion. In a recent interview with Sportskeeda, she tells everyone how big of a Paige fan she is. She is following her since she made her debut on raw in 2014 and won the Divas title. She would love to have a match with Paige as she is her dream opponent.
A potential match between Paige and Britt
Baker said that she is looking for a dream match with Paige in the interview she says “I’m a huge fan of her. I love her. I love her mom. I’ve wrestled her mom before actually. But she’s such an inspirational female. That girl has gone through it all and she’s still, pardon my swearing, but she’s such a bad b***h and she has that everything roll off your back energy. You can’t get to her, you know what I’m saying?”
She continues her interview by saying that Paige always makes her head high and in wrestling also even if she is not in a match she wants to see her wrestling and wants to be in the same ring because she is one of her favorites when Paige makes her entrance ever move of her sidewalk on the ramp and all makes britt excited and britt used to play her entrance in her car so she is a huge fan.
In reply to her interview, Paige said that she would love to have a match with britt baker. She tweeted “Sign me up. I love me some @RealBrittBaker.”
Currently, Paige is in her non-compete clause with WWE as she is released from WWE at the start of July so it will be not possible now but it could be in the future if she signs with AEW. As she is not one hundred percent clear for in-ring return after she suffered a career-threatening injury in 2017. So, a potential match can be seen after some time but not for now.
