After their altercation during the 2023 men’s Royal Rumble match, fans have been speculating about a possible Brock Lesnar vs. Gunther match. The two powerhouse wrestlers were previously rumored to square off at WrestleMania 39 as well. However, that was not the case, as both The Beast Incarnate and The Ring General had different paths on the road to WrestleMania, having distinct storylines and opponents.

During his recent interview with ESPN MMA, Brock Lesnar discussed many aspects of his WWE career. The former UFC heavyweight champion was also asked if he wants to have a match with Gunther sometime in the future. Brock responded to the most anticipated question candidly, revealing it was not in his hands.

“I do, I don’t really care… it was just proposed. And I don’t know if I don’t make the calls around here. It’s just one of those things. When this was proposed to me, I liked it because I like the challenge. And I like the matchup,“ Brock Lesnar disclosed.

Previously, The Ring General Gunther also presented his wish to face Brock, calling it a dream match. Moreover, the Beast Incarnate is currently involved in a newborn rivalry with Cody Rhodes. And will probably be involved in the feud for a certain amount of time.

Meanwhile, fans have to be patient for a few more months for a potential dream match, i.e., Brock Lesnar vs. Gunther. Hence, it remains to be seen whether WWE is really interested in the ultimate showdown between two absolute monsters. And if the seeds will be planted for their bout in the very near future.

Apart from addressing the Brock Lesnar vs. Gunther dream match, The Beast Incarnate also shed light on his future WWE run. Brock was asked whether he wants to have another championship run in his remaining WWE career.

Lesnar noted that everyone, including him, wants to be a champion. However, he also admitted that he doesn’t need a title run at this point in his career. Moreover, Brock said that he would like another title opportunity anyway if things work out.

In conclusion, the former 10-time WWE champion revealed that things are crazy in WWE and the wrestling business. Hence, fans are yet to find out what WWE has in store for Lesnar for the remaining duration of his legendary career.
