UPDATE: Huge plans for Brock Lesnar’s retirement revealed, next appearance in WWE reportedly announced

Last night’s main event was absolute carnage. We saw everything in the arena being used for the last-man-standing match between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. Brock would even bring a tractor into the arena before using it to topple Reigns and then the ring itself. Even after this much annihilation, The Beast fell short as Reigns with the help of The Usos would bury Brock under announce table and pretty much “everything” they could find to finally win the match. After the match, Brock would wear his Cowboy hat to thank the fans for the support as he stood tall in the ring.

After the gesture, The Beast Incarnate left many scratching their heads as many thought he is ready to retire as the match was also being advertised as “the last match” between the two. Also, after Vince ‌announced his retirement, many speculated that Brock would also hang up his boots after the latter compared Vince as a fatherly figure. With Brock losing to Reigns it also needs to be seen how much time will he give to WWE and what plans the creatives have for him.

But, it seems like retirement isn’t on the cards yet when it comes to Brock Lesnar. The multi-time champion is being advertised for The Day 1 show on January 1, 2023, by The Atlanta State Farm Arena. Day 1 marks WWE’s first event in 2023, and Lesnar’s appearance on the show means that The Beast isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Though, it would be interesting to see who he will feud with now as he seems to have done with Reigns. But when it comes to WWE anything and everything is possible.

The Day 1 event marked its debut in 2022, and in its inaugural edition, Lesnar was supposed to face The Tribal Chief before the latter was diagnosed with COVID-19. And Brock was then inserted into a match with the then WWE Champion Big E, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, and Bobby Lashley. Lesnar ended up winning the match to win the WWE title which he later lost to Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 38.

Notably, Brock is also not advertised for The Clash at The Castle event in Wales next month, which tells us that he would not be making an appearance on the PPV. Interestingly, Crown Jewel is scheduled for November 5, which is the annual event in Saudi Arabia as part of the WWE’s 10-yr partnership with the country. Brock is known for pulling the crowd in the big shows and has never missed an event in the middle east, therefore, there are high chances that The Beast can be seen at the event but it would be interesting to see what the management has in store for him.
