UPDATE: Brock Lesnar’s possible role at Wrestlemania Backlash
Brock Lesnar was originally advertised to be at Wrestlemania Backlash. But a few days ago, WWE pulled his name off the advertisements. This is a typical type of Fake advertisement WWE does to sell their tickets as they always keep their talents subject to change. A report from Wrestling Observer said, “A different form of false advertising than WWE generally uses.” According to the source, this isn’t a case where WWE management changed their minds or someone was forced to miss an event due to illness. WWE was well aware that Lesnar would not present at Backlash but chose to promote him regardless.
Will Brock Lesnar be at Wrestlemania Backlash?
However, we all know that Brock Lesnar has been working full-time since the start of 2022. Hence, the possibility of the Beast showing up cannot be ruled out. His storyline with Roman Reigns is done and dusted, as of now, according to reports and Brock Lesnar might be starting a fresh feud soon. Wrestlemania Backlash might be a perfect place for that to happen as the possibilities are en-numbered.
Seth Rollins will be facing Cody Rhodes in a rematch from Wrestlemania and it might be a tough pill to digest that WWE make Seth lose again, in a rematch that he himself initiated. WWE could make Brock intervene and cost Rhodes the match, making Rhodes not lose clean as well as making Seth pick up the win. This could be the start of a feud between the American Nightmare and the Beast Incarnate. The possibilities are vast, but what WWE adapts needs to be seen as Wrestlemania Backlash takes place on the 8th of May.
