“Being a WWE Superstar – not just in-ring work” Bully Ray shares his opinion on John Cena

John Cena who is a wrestler turned actor is widely looked upon by many as one of the greatest wrestlers of his generation. John Cena made his WWE debut in 2002 when he answered Kurt Angle’s open challenge and kicked off the ‘Ruthless Aggression ‘ Era in WWE. The Doctor of Thuganomics won his first singles title in 2004 when he defeated Big Show to win the United States Championship. John Cena later in 2005 won the WWE Championship for the first time in his career when he pinned JBL at Wrestlemania
John Cena during since hasn’t looked back and during his time with WWE has managed to win the Royal Rumble twice apart from his 16 world titles. The Cenation Leader has been the face of the WWE for the longest time and recently took time off wrestling to make a career in the acting industry. John Cena has appeared in movies such as Bumblebee, he also appeared in the ninth instalment of the Fast and Furious franchise playing the lead antagonist. Cena was also cast as Peacemaker in James Gunn’s movie The Suicide Squad.

John Cena is set to appear on Raw to celebrate his 20 years with WWE
John Cena was a worldwide superstar even before appearing in movies because of his career with WWE inside the ring and outside of it as well. The Leader of Cenation has granted the most Make a wish Foundations wishes which has played a huge part in putting WWE on the World Map. Former WWE Tag Team Champion and hardcore legend Bully Ray recently on the Busted Open podcast highlighted on why the 16 time World Champion should be considered as the greatest superstar in the company:
“There’s definitely an argument for Cena [to be named the greatest Superstar of all-time]. Everything that encompasses being a WWE Superstar – not just in-ring work. If we go outside of the ring, John Cena has granted more wishes to children on this earth through the Make a Wish Foundation than anybody else. That says a lot,” said Bully Ray
John Cena’s most recent appearance in WWE was when The Leader of Cenation had a match against the Tribal Chief Roman Reings at Summerslam 2021. John Cena is set to appear on Raw to celebrate his 20 years with company. It is widely believed that John Cena is returning for a feud with Theory as the two have been going at each other on social media.
