In the wide spectrum of WWE, the Dudley Boyz is considered one of the greatest tag teams of all time. The deadly duo of Bubba Ray Dudley and D-Von Dudley is even the most decorated team, with 18 championship wins. Dudleys were the ones to have revived tag team wrestling in the Attitude Era and brought back life to the division. Now that both members are no longer with WWE and perform on TNA, Bubba is still hoping for one last match at WrestleMania 40.

Bubba Ray, who goes by the name Bully Ray in TNA, took on X to ‘just say’ his wish. Bully started with a not-gonna-lie statement and claimed that he would feel amazing to hit ‘Wassauuupp’ for the last time.

Adding to it, Ray would scream the iconic phrase ‘GET THE TABLES’ and take out their opponent with a 3D on the table. The conclusion clarified that he needs this to happen at WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia.

Ray wrote all this, added a ‘just sayin…’ to the end, and kept it open-ended for fans’ opinions. This was a straight-up offer on behalf of his team for an open challenge at Mania. It is clear that the Dudleys are willing to have one last dance in WWE, and what better place to do so then the Shows of Shows!

It would be amazing to hit 1 last “Wassauuupp” … scream 1 last “GET THE TABLES” and deliver 1 last 3D through a table at WrestleMania40 in Philly.
Bully Ray teases his plans for WrestleMania 40

The Dudley Boyz last appeared on WWE television in January 2018. The team reunited on the Raw 25 Years episode and took down Heath Slater in the process. The same year, in April, the legendary tag team was inducted into the Hall of Fame, which marked their final WWE appearance. However, their last WWE in-ring action dates back to August 21, 2016, in a successful manner at SummerSlam 2016.

Bully Ray is willing to join WWE as a writer/producer

Bully Ray, formerly known as WWE’s Bubba Ray Dudley, is one of the greatest wrestlers. With 18 tag team titles in WWE and a grand total of 25 championships around the globe, he is highly decorated. The hardcore approach of Dudley Boyz is praised by their fans, with their signature being the ‘3D’ table break. Bully is currently signed to TNA and last performed in October 2023.

All of a sudden, though, Ray has taken on X in reply to a WWE update. WrestleOps posted about the job posting WWE had opened on their corporate website for their creative team. WWE needed a writer or producer who could work from their headquarters in Stamford on a full-time basis. Thus, Ray took advantage of this post and hilariously stated that he had submitted his resume.

Bully is seen hosting the Busted Open Podcast while also being a part of the TNA roster. The last time he was teamed with Brother Devon to form Team 3D, aka WWE’s Dudley Boyz was back in September 2023. In the 1000th episode of TNA, Devon and Ray defeated The Desi Hit Squad.
