“He Basically took my PROMO” WWE Veteren expresses his disappointment with MJF’s latest promo on Dynamite

MJF is one of the hottest things in pro wrestling right now. His return at All Out has got the industry talking as he had been away from the programming for a long time. MJF who’s probably one of the best heels in AEW was welcomed as a babyface by the fans at All Out, though he was able to keep his character, he opened as crowd’s favourite at the latest edition of Dynamite.
However it was not long enough when mjf showed his true colors and turned on the crowd and said he wants to win the title to defend it in a real wrestling company. he name dropped Triple H and the American Nightmare Cody Rhodes in an encrypted manner and said he is ready for the bidding war in 2024.

Bully Ray says MJF “ripped off” his promo at the latest Dynamite Edition
The 2024 reference was in accordance with the expiration of MJF’s contract with AEW which is set to expire in the said year. It is obvious that there will be a high bidding war between promotions to pull him in when he gets free from AEW. While many were impressed by the promo, Former WWE Legend and Hall of Famer Bully Ray thought that the promo was ripped off from one of his own promos.
Speaking on the Busted Open podcast Ray said that he doesn’t mean that MJF has copied his promo, but took it and has changed it a little bit. Speaking about the promo Bully Ray said- “He basically took my promo, I am not saying he copied me, he basically took my promo about laying the tag team championships at the altar of Vince McMahon and turned it into his own last line.”
While it clearly seems that Ray was not impressed with the promo he also expressed his reservations about a major issue as well. He also expressed his disappointment over the fact that AEW President didn’t acknowledge anything that happened at All Out Media Scrum and just announced that titles are being vacated.
He said that in pro wrestling it is very important to answer questions like- “Who, What, Where, When , and Why”. But, according to Ray Khan failed to acknowledge any of these. Also, he felt that it would have been appropriate if Khan had just answered “Why” even if it was in a corporate language.
