Cain Velasquez’s court hearing again gets a new date adding to his woes

Caín Ramirez Velasquez well known around the world as Cain Velasquez is a former UFC Champion who currently works for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA). Cain Velasquez is a mixed martial artist with a brown belt in Guerrilla Jiu-Jitsu and a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Velasquez’s first win was against Jesse Fujarczyk in 2006 at the time of his debut. After number of impressive showings Cain made his UFC debut at UFC 73 defeating Brad Morris in his debut for the company. Velasquez would appear at UFC Fight Night 14 and 17 both in winning efforts.
At UFC 110 Velasquez who was an underdog in his match against former Interim UFC Heavyweight Champion Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira went on to shock everyone and won the match which automatically put him into title contention. At UFC Primetime Cain Velasquez faced off against Brock Lesnar and defeated the Beast Incarnate to win the UFC Heavyweight Championship for the first time in his career via a 1st round knockout. After an injury and losing the title to Junior dos Santos, Velasquez at UFC 155 again defeated dos Santos to win back his title and became a two time UFC Champion.

Cain Velasquez made his WWE debut in 2019 and confronted WWE Champion Brock Lesnar
In 2019 Cain Velasquez announced his retirement from MMA and expressed his desire to pursue a career in professional wrestling. Velasquez made his professional wrestling debut in Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide teaming up with Cody Rhodes in a winning effort. Cain Velasquez appeared in WWE alongside Rey Mysterio in 2019 and provoked Brock Lesnar to mark his debut for the company. The altercation set up a match between the two at WWE Crown Jewel which was won by Brock Lesnar. An injury kept Velasquez away from WWE and the former UFC Champion was released due to Covid19 pandemic budget cuts by the company.
In February of 2022 it was reported that the former WWE Superstar had shot a man in California. Cain Velasquez was said to be chasing a man named Harry Goularte Jr who had committed child sexual abuse acts at a day-care where one of Velasquez’s relative was studying. In a dangerous chase where Velasquez where he was after a car which had Goularte Jr., his stepfather, and mother, Velasquez ended up ramming the cars before shooting with a gun which instead of the guilty hit his step father.
After the incident was reported Cain Velasquez was taken into custody at Santa Clara County jail on an attempted first-degree murder charge. The former WWE superstar has been in the jail ever since and yet is facing delay in his hearing. Cain was supposed to have his hearing on the 5th of August but due to unknown reasons was shifter to 19th August which might add to Velasquez’s frustration. Velasquez who is facing 10 charges would like to face the court as early as possible.
