WWE legend Carlito made a thunderous return at Fastlane, helping the LWO defeat Bobby Lashley and Street Profits. Shortly after, he was revealed to be the newest member of the SmackDown roster. As a result, the Caribbean Cool made his first appearance on the Blue brand during the most recent edition of the show. However, The All Mighty ended up abruptly interrupting him.
While speaking with Kayla Braxton backstage, Carlito described his return with one word: “Cool!”. During this week’s SmackDown, Bobby Lashley welcomed the veteran back, reminiscing about the last time the duo were in the ring together. In reply, Carlito challenged him to his first singles match after almost 13 years in the WWE.
However, Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford didn’t waste any time to ambush the returning superstar after Lashley seemingly denied the challenge. As a result, backstage officials intervened before things escalated. Needless to say, the newly formed trio was not at all happy to see Carlito “meddle in their business” with the LWO.
A six-man tag team rematch might be on the cards shortly. By the looks of it, Carlito has a full-time contract with the WWE. Therefore, fans can expect to see more of the 44-year-old on SmackDown. At the moment, there is no confirmation as to whether he is a member of the Latino World Order.
Booker T comments on Carlito’s return to the WWE
The Caribbean Cool, Carlito, is back in the WWE, making his first appearance since re-signing at Payback. There was a lot of buzz around his return. Recently, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T spoke about the legend’s comeback and what fans can expect to see from him.

During the latest episode of his Hall of Fame podcast, the WWE veteran detailed how he felt about Carlito’s return. “We’ll see exactly what his role is going to be on the show. But I think he fits into everything that’s going on, especially coming back and helping Rey, just making that walk to the ring. It had to be special. It had to feel a certain way,” Booker T said.
Also, he revealed that he learned about Carlito’s return on the day of the Fastlane. Despite being signed a couple of months ago, the Caribbean Cool would make his first appearance on the show on the October 7 premium live event in Indianapolis. He helped the LWO defeat the trio of Bobby Lashley and Street Profits.
