Friday Night SmackDown was live from Orlando, Florida this week, which is the hometown of NXT. Therefore, a lot of superstars from the Yellow Brand appeared on the latest episode of SmackDown. NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes was one of the superstars who met former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley.
In a backstage segment, Bobby Lashley approached the NXT Champion, who was accompanied by Trick Williams. The two superstars exchanged words and had a conversation. Therefore, fans have been wondering what transpired between Lashley and Hayes and what might happen in the following weeks. After the show, the NXT Champion reacted to the interaction.
Hayes wrote “Business Trip” in the caption, teasing that he might join Bobby Lashley to re-form The Hurt Business. Since returning to SmackDown, Bobby Lashley has been teasing a potential new faction. He was seen interacting with Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford last week as the team teased joining the former WWE Champion.

Potential members of the New Hurt Business

The rumors about the New Hurt Business have been going around for a long time. MVP teased the reformation several times in the past few months, but that never came to fruition. However, this time it looks serious, as Lashley has been actively interacting with numerous superstars on SmackDown. The rumored members of the group will include MVP from the old faction as a manager.
Additionally, The Street Profits is rumored join the new group. Dawkins and Ford have shown a lot of potential and will be benefitted by joining a faction that runs a show. Omos might also join The Hurt Business as a muscle guy for the group. Additionally, NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes can join the group, as this will be a great call-up on the main roster for the young superstar.
With the fall of The Bloodline and tension between the members of The Judgment Day, this would be the perfect time for WWE to introduce a new faction that can run either SmackDown or Raw. Therefore, fans will have to wait and see what Lashley has in mind and how the new group looks.
