Over the months, Hayes spoke about Seth Rollins in many of his interviews and podcasts. He expressed his inclination towards facing The Visionary on the main roster. Moreover, the NXT Champion called Rollins a perfect opponent and drew a lot of similarities between them. However, one of the fans asked the NXT Champion about his dream WrestleMania opponent. Replying to that, Hayes said that he would love to face Seth Rollins as his dream opponent at the Showcase of the Immortals. He added that he sees a lot of similarities between him and Rollins.

The 28-year-old believes that the two of them will have great chemistry in the ring. Moreover, Hayes compared his journey with The Visionary’s journey and drew a lot of parallels. He stated that Rollins was the first NXT Champion, and he is the current NXT Champion. Therefore, he believes it could give rise to an interesting storyline angle for a feud between the two of them down the line.
