“Experience your last win for a long time”; Charlotte Flair reacts after Ronda Rousey wins the Beat the Clock I quit challenge
Charlotte Flair lost to Ronda Rousey in the Beat the Clock I quit challenge
The rivalry between Ronda Rousey and Charlotte has now become way more brutal than it was ever thought. The two women have determined to tear each other apart and their match at the 38th edition of the Grandest Stage of them All is just an example of what the two can do when they meet each other in the squared circle. While the two women have not had many face to face interactions since their match at WrestleMania 38, their jabs for each other have established their rivalry very much.
After getting the I quit match confirmed, Rousey and Flair sat down to sign the contract and make their SmackDown Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania Backlash official. But the contract signing segment didn’t end like it should have in the first place. Flair had signed the contract first and when the Baddest Women on the Planet had the pen in hand, the champion turned the table upside down and took out a kendo stick.
While the segment could’ve got forward with one of the women attacking the other, it rather went brutally bad for the assistant officiator of the contract signing, Drew Gulak. Rousey has applied the armbar on Gulak and also attacked him with a kendo stick before signing the contract and making her I quit match for the Smackdown Women’s Championship official.
What happened between Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair this week on SmackDown?
Ronda Rousey faced Shotzi in a ‘Beat the Clock I Quit Challenge’ and made her spell out I quit to win the match and send a huge statement to the WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion. On the other hand, Charlotte Flair faced Aliyah in the same challenge which the champion couldn’t win after the time finished when she had the figure 8 leg lock applied.
After Rousey’s win, Charlotte Flair said that the Baddest Women on the Planet experienced her last win in a long time. The champion also said that she would end the career of Rousey at WrestleMania Backlash and will make the challenger scream ‘I Quit’ at the upcoming premium live event.
