The Queen Charlotte Flair is no longer ruling the WWE now. The 14-time women’s champion will be out of WWE programming for the coming nine months due to her knee injury. As the news of her hiatus from the company was shocking to the WWE Universe, another report making headlines is the addition of a strained neck apart from the ACL injuries.

Flair underwent surgery for a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus, which she suffered on her last episode of SmackDown. PWInsider‘s report states that the whole injury is believed to be more than the tears. But the tension in her neck is also risk-worthy. The estimation for her total recovery can be counted up to nine months. This adds down a year where Charlotte will be missing WrestleMania after three years.

The Nature Girl was injured during her match against Asuka on the December 8, 2023, episode of SmackDown. The multiple injuries came from her top-rope fall while The Empress of Tomorrow was trying to take her down from the height. An unlikely landing on the rope and a bump on the mat was something that sparked her suffering. Thus the tear in her knees had to be operated on as soon as possible.

WWE had a chance to bring back the Four Horsewomen together after numerous years of waiting. Sasha Banks, aka Mercedes Mone, is rumored to make her return at Royal Rumble 2024. Banks and Bayley have been best friends for a longer time, while Becky Lynch’s flourished friendship with Charlotte would’ve added the charm to the women’s roster.

WWE is capitalizing on Bayley being Charlotte Flair’s replacement

Damage CTRL leader Bayley is not having an enjoyable time in WWE. It has been a year since she was in the shadows of her faction and lost multiple matches. All that agony would be redeemed by The Role Model though, in the coming times, as WWE is looking to plan a massive push for her.

Coming from a dominant faction and still being the weakest link, this would not be the case now. WWE has hinted at their plans with a slight change in their WWE banner that has replaced Charlotte Flair. The Nature Girl will be out of WWE for at least nine months due to a knee injury. Thus, to represent their promotion gratefully, Bayley would be the choice that the WWE Universe would adore.

It seems like The Role Model will be winning the Royal Rumble this year, as she has been declaring it on a weekly basis. The only change that might follow after her victory would be her choice to face the champion of her choosing. Bayley stated to battle Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 40, but a Damage CTRL-esque bout with Iyo Sky for the WWE Women’s Championship would be a delight to watch.
