Charlotte Flair has been out of action since WrestleMania Backlash

Charlotte Flair had lost her RAW Women’s Championship to Nikki A.S.H last year when the latter cashed in her MITB contract. Flair managed to regain the title from A.S.H at SummerSlam last year. Thereafter she retained her RAW Women’s Championship against Alexa Bliss at Extreme Rules. During the 2021 draft Charlotte, the then-Raw Women’s Champion, was drafted to SmackDown Brand while Becky Lynch was drafted to RAW Brand. WWE official Sonya Deville had the two ladies trade their Championships in order to maintain the titles on their respective brands.
Charlotte Flair then participated at the Royal Rumble 2022 and it was a big deal for her as she participated in the event as a SmackDown Women’s Champion, she was on the verge of being the first woman to win the Royal Rumble while also holding the World Championship when Ronda Rousey knocked her out to win the Royal Rumble. Rousey then challenged flair for a bout at WrestleMania 38 but was defeated. Ronda managed to win against Flair at WrestleMania Backlash and became the SmackDown Women’s Champion for the first time in her career.
Following her defeat to Rousey at WrestleMania Backlash, Flair took some time off to marry her longtime partner and former WWE wrestler Andrade. She married Andrade on May 27 in Mexico. Flair hasn’t been seen on WWE for the past three months now.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has something to say now regarding the Queen’s return, He stated that Charlotte Flair is poised to make a comeback and that she may cost a match. Dave also stated that even though Ronda Rousey was a nice sport after their bout at the MITB Live event, it would be hard for Ronda to be the Babyface against Liv Morgan.
”Charlotte Flair should be ready to return so that could be her costing one or the other that match. It will be hard for Rousey to be a babyface against Morgan, even if she was the “good sport” about losing her title under unfair circumstances,”
As per reports, WWE is planning for a feud between Rousey and Liv Morgan and a possible match at SummerSlam on July 30th. It has also been speculated that “The Queen” Charlotte Flair might make her return at the Live event.
