Charlotte Flair is one of the best wrestlers present in the current roster of the WWE. She has been out of action since her defeat at WrestleMania Backlash to Ronda Rousey. After the event, Charlotte Flair took time off to marry AEW Superstar and Former NXT Women’s Champion Andrade. Charlotte Flair has been a dominant performer since her WWE debut and has won all the major championships for the women of WWE, including winning the Royal Rumble 2020. Flair has the ability to play babyface and a heel effortlessly and possesses decent mic skills.
On the recent edition of Broken Skulls, Charlotte Flair spoke on a variety of topics, one of which being her return, Charlotte Flair said that she is looking for a big feud and a next big match and there are some potential names such as Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley who want to beat her. Charlotte stated that she wants to be a perfectionist and that she wants to come back with a different layer. Flair said that she believes in not fixing the things which aren’t broken and that one should always need to think of evolving.
Charlotte Flair had revealed that she never wanted to be a wrestler
In 2019, Charlotte Flair had appeared on an edition of Chasing Glory, wherein she revealed that she didn’t aspire to be a wrestler when she was young. Flair said that she went to the shows when she was young and even wanted to take her volleyball team and friends to one of the wrestling shows but seeing at the performers at that time she decided not to.
Flair probably indicating that women didn’t have great matches back then. Charlotte Flair said that she kind of was a Tomboy and thereby didn’t see herself as Stacy Kiebler, Torrie Wilson or Lita. She thought that since she used to play sports, she could be athletic and do the moves but just never saw herself as a diva, thus not caring about being a diva when she was young.
In January 2022, while speaking with TV Source Magazine Charlotte Flair had spoken about putting herself on the career path she is still today and how Reid Flair changed her life. Charlotte Flair stated that she constantly surprises herself and revealed that she had not found her purpose or passion until her twenties. She said that when her brother Reid passed away, her life changed and that put her on the path to becoming a wrestler and is the reason where she is today.
“I constantly surprise myself. That’s really it. Sometimes I drive down the road, and I look at my life, and I’m like, how the hell did I get here? I hadn’t found my purpose or passion yet in my twenties. When my brother passed away, my life changed and put me on the path to where I am today. If I can go this far, how much further can I go?”
Reid Flair was an upcoming professional wrestler and wanted to sign a developmental deal with WWE but had failed two drug tests. He led a troublesome life due to his battle with drug addiction and had overdosed twice in 2011. Reid passed away in 2013 due to overdose of heroin and prescription drugs. Charlotte Flair also said that when she won the WWE Divas Championship, she felt like it was for him and that now that she is the most decorated woman in sports entertainment, it’s like fulfilling his dream. Flair said that she has no regrets and is happy with what she has achieved.
