Charlotte Flair is one of the strongest women in the WWE Universe. She has been at the top of the women’s division for a long time now. From winning all the championships of the women’s division for being the supporter of friends and family, she has come a long way. All the younger players have nothing but respect for ‘The Queen.’
It wasn’t easy for her to reach the top. She went through a lot to become who she is today. She lost her brother Reid Flair in 2013 owing to drug overdose. Reid was a par excellent amature wrestling player. This incident made her think that she was going to make it big in the industry.
Charlotte Flair speaks about Ric Flair’s death post her brother’s death
Charlotte Flair was in an interview where she revealed how the death of her brother had changed a lot of things in the family. Charlotte was confused about her decision of entering WWE and wondered if she made the right choice but after Reid passed away, she decided to work for the industry. “I worked so hard there, that gave my dad more reason to be active in the wrestling community and I think that helped him a lot with his later on career and life after just besides the ring,” said the Queen.
The death of Reid took over Ric Flair’s health. He entered into a coma and early signs of kidney and heart failure. The doctor had given up their answer but he miraculously survived through it all. It was an eye opener to Ric Flair as well who realised that his family needs him too.
“It was a bunch of different things, but in the end, I think my dad and the family are going to come out stronger from this,” said Charlotte Flair. The incident taught Ric Flair to not be the man at all times. She feels that there will be nothing as hard as losing her brother for her.
The Queen is currently out of action recovering from injury and spending her time with her husband Andrade El Idolo. She broke her arm at WWE WrestleMania BackLash and also lost the title to Ronda Rousey for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship. It’s been a long time since Charlotte took her leave from the ring. The fans are waiting for her to return as soon as possible.
