Current Women’s Tag Team Champion Chelsea Green has been prominently featured on weekly shows. Her boastful personality didn’t help her take a win on SmackDown this week. She suffered an upset against her long-time rival, Shotzi. Later on, Green papered over her loss as she broke her silence for the first time since her defeat.

Green posted a picture on Instagram with her partner, Piper Niven. The duo showed off their championships. Chelsea used an interesting caption as she wrote, “The devil may care, but we don’t…#SmackDown,” referring to her loss on the show. The picture is giving off a Halloween impression, and it looks like Chelsea has swept her loss under the rug and has moved on.

Needless to say, Chelsea Green has been having a lackluster run as the champion. Although it looked after a long time that she was close to winning a singles matchup, Shotzi outsmarted the champion and rolled her to gain a pinfall, which led to her securing a win over the 32-year-old.

The 32-year-old tweeted that she won’t be able to defend her title at Halloween Havoc Night two next week. She simply wrote, “I CAN’T MAKE IT.” There has been no official news at the time of this writing. However, it looks like a pun, as Chelsea Green often keeps showing tantrums to avoid wrestling.

It is going to be interesting to see if Chelsea Green wrestles at NXT Halloween Havoc. As of now, the match is on. Green suffered a big defeat at the hands of Shotzi this week on SmackDown. This factor might affect Chelsea’s psyche, which can further lead to her backing away from the challenge.
