WrestleMania 40 is drawing closer as the matches for the show have begun to be locked in. As such, Chelsea Green has agreed to an interesting pitch for herself at the Showcase of Immortals. The Hot Mess has suggested that she’s down to square off against Raw General Manager, Adam Pearce, in an intergender bout.
A fan on X pitched the idea of a rare match between the two rivals. In reply, Green revealed that it was an idea that she could get behind. The pair have always had an on-and-off screen disagreement over the former Women’s Tag Team Champion’s booking on the red brand. As a result, she has threatened to file complaints against Adam Pearce on numerous occasions.

The 32-year-old star has not had the greatest of times on Raw as of late. After losing the tag titles to The Party Girls at the end of last year, Chelsea Green has been lost in the shuffle. Despite an impressive showing at the Royal Rumble, she hasn’t been utilized enough on WWE programming. In addition to that, her tag partner, Piper Niven, recently suffered an injury, sidelining her indefinitely.
The Hot Mess has been regularly on Main Event for the past few weeks. Her last appearance on Raw saw her lose against Raquel Rodriguez in under two minutes. Therefore, it seems unlikely that WWE has any substantial plans for Green at WrestleMania 40. Despite having one of the best on-screen characters in the women’s division, it will be disappointing to see her miss out on the card.
Chelsea Green reveals the three most powerful moves she has taken in wrestling
Chelsea Green is undoubtedly one of the best signings of the Triple H regime. Since returning in January 2023, she has faced several stars on the main roster. Recently, The Hot Mess named the three most devastating moves she has taken inside the ring.
During an appearance on the Lightweights Podcast, Green claimed that the powerful moves are the ones that are unexpected. First, she revealed that Raquel Rodriguez‘s Tejana bomb is a scary move to take. Green went on to mention that any maneuver from Bianca Belair also hurts a lot. Further, the 32-year-old pointed out how a blow to the face from Kayden Carter came into effect the next morning.

Over the past years, fans have seen wrestlers get injured from the simplest of moves. As such, Green asserted the same during this interview. Needless to say, a professional wrestler’s job isn’t as straightforward as outsiders claim it to be.
