WWE superstar Chelsea Green was a guest on the most recent episode of “Out of Character with Ryan Satin.” She revealed a lot of interesting things while speaking on the podcast. Green mentioned how she met her partner, Matt Cardona. She highlighted the direct involvement of Cody Rhodes and his wife, Brandi Rhodes, in their love relationship.

In addition to being a renowned WWE superstar, Cody Rhodes is also a matchmaker. Chelsea Green spoke about meeting Matt Cardona for the first time. She credited Brandi and Cody Rhodes for playing a key role in that. Green said that she also did considerable research on Cardona before meeting him.

While speaking on Out of Character with Ryan Satin, the 32-year-old recalled the moment. She revealed that it was Cody Rhodes and Brandi Rhodes who matched Green and Cardona together for a blind date. The incident occurred after Cody and Brandi left WWE and joined Impact Wrestling, respectively.

Chelsea Green said that Cody and Brandi met her and told her about Cardona looking for a partner. As a result, the AEW superstar, who is now her husband, slid into her DMs. She added that she would give more credit to Brandi Rhodes, as Cody didn’t play much of a role. Brandi was the one who reached out to her when she was in Impact Wrestling.

Fortunately, the blind date went well for the couple. As a result, Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green got married in 2021. Green revealed that she broke her own cardinal rule that she had been following since Impact Wrestling. The former NXT star was determined that she wouldn’t ever marry a wrestler. However, Cardona changed her thoughts about it.

Cody Rhodes faces Brock Lesner at Night of Champions

This Saturday at Night of Champions, Cody Rhodes will take on The Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar. The American Nightmare’s ongoing storyline with Lesnar was fueled when the latter attacked him backstage this week on Raw. The fans later saw the former Universal Champion deliver a promo segment.

However, Cody Rhodes interrupted the segment. As a result, there was a brawl between the two superstars. Brock Lesnar wrapped up Rhodes into a Kimura Lock and even broke his arm. During a backstage segment, Triple H advised the former AEW star not to face Lesnar on Saturday in a broken arm.

However, Cody Rhodes said he will definitely compete in the match because he needs to repay him and he won’t back out of a fight. The two superstars will clash in the ring in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It will be interesting to see if The American Nightmare defeats Brock Lesnar or if The Beast Incarnate takes his revenge this time.
