Former champion wanted to face off against Cardi B in the pay-off of her own spin-off talent show in WWE

Former Tag Team Champion Chelsea Green has become one of the most entertaining superstars in WWE. Her Karen-like gimmick has found its groove with the fans. She is so popular with the fans at this point, that they want her to be in the main event picture next year.

In a recent interview with Spencer Love, she was asked who she would like on her talent show, ‘Chelsea’s Got Talent.’ The 32-year-old star said she would’ve loved to bring Cardi B and also expressed her desire to wrestle her in a match.

If I'm being honest, I wanted Cardi B. And If I couldn't get Cardi B, I wanted to wrestle Cardi B. So I mean there were so many good options in Chelsea's Got Talent and like and what I like is that we saw people all over. We did see you know main roster talents, and announcers, we saw Kathy Calley, we saw R-Truth, but we also saw some great NXT talents too.

Chelsea recently lost the Tag Team Title belts to the new tag team of Kayden Carter and Katana Chance on last week’s episode of Raw. They held the title for a total of 154 days. It will be interesting to see whether Chelsea and Piper Niven manage to get their title back.

Chelsea Green talked about her tag team relationship with Piper Niven

Chelsea Green was one half of a Tag Team Champion with Sonya Deville, but unfortunately got injured with an ACL injury. Although Chelsea wanted to organize an audition to find a partner for her, Piper Niven stepped up to do so.

In the interview with Spencer Love, she talked about previous teammates and how they work together. The 32-year-old said that she has had a history with Piper Niven, as they both lived together in Japan. Chelsea further added they both are great friends and forming a tag team with Piper was the easiest to do. 

When they said I'm going to be with Piper... what a lot of people don't know is that I lived in Japan with Piper. We Wrestled for Stardom together. So we did have a history, we already had a friendship, so that was actually out of he three probably the easiest one to slip into.

Chelsea however expressed that they were not the same type of wrestlers and were very different people. She had a great year in 2023, staying one-half of the Tag Team Champions for almost a year. However, she has even bigger plans for 2024 and was very excited to perform at WrestleMania 40 in front of her family.
