Hogan is undoubtedly one of the greatest superstars in the history of WWE. He was responsible for bringing professional wrestling into the mainstream media to some extent. His finisher was considered to be the most dangerous move in the 1980s and 1990s. Very few opponents kicked out of the lethal leg drop during that time.

However, in a recent interview, Hogan said that he regrets using the move as a finisher. Hulk Hogan revealed that dropping on the hard mat almost every day for over three decades damaged his back beyond repair. He has had numerous surgeries on the back, but they have not provided much relief.

The 69-year-old regrets not using a finisher, which was relatively safer on his own body. He believes that the “sleeper hold” could have been a safe option. WWE Hall of Famer Roddy Piper was known not to use a sleeper hold as his finisher, and Hogan wished to use the same as a final move.
