Matt Hardy is one of the most popular wrestlers in the pro wrestling industry. Matt Hardy began his WWE career alongside his brother Jeff, and the two went on to become one of the greatest tag team in pro wrestling history.
Even though they have been recognized as one of the greatest tag teams, they have managed to carve out their own single reputations in the wrestling world. Matt had a significant role in the WWE in the early 2000s, and the audience enjoyed watching his feuds with Kane and Edge because they were so entertaining, original, and compelling.
Through his high-flying and extreme wrestling styles, which displayed his phenomenal in-ring abilities, Hardy was a diligent worker who consistently put his body on the line. He was a decent talker too, and had the ability to reinvent himself.
Matt Hardy was never a main eventer in the WWE, although he did win the ECW Championship once. Hardy established himself as a top carder at the TNA, where he became a two-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion.
Matt Hardy completed 30 years in the wrestling business
Matt Hardy has fought for numerous wrestling promotions like WWE, Impact Wrestling, ROH, WCW, AEW and many more. Today, Matt Hardy celebrated his 30th anniversary in the world of professional wrestling.
Hardy deserves a spot in the WWE and TNA Hall of Fame because of his outstanding accomplishments there. Before joining WWE, Matt Hardy and his brother Jeff established The Organization of Modern Extreme Grappling Arts, a wrestling promotion that has helped launch the careers of several wrestlers.
On The latest Edition of Hardy’s podcast “Extreme Life of Matt Hardy“, Matt’s co-host Jon Alba surprised him with congratulatory messages from some of the WWE legends, one such message being from Chris Jericho. Jericho congratulated Matt for achieving the milestone and told him to always keep innovating, updating and upgrading.
“Mattie, Chris Jericho here. Just congratulate you on completing 30 years in the wrestling business; that is unbelievable. There are not a lot of us that have made it to the 30-year club, and here you are, and deservedly so. Always innovating, always upgrading, always updating,”
Further stating that Matt Hardy has managed to remain relevant in the industry after 30 years, Chris Jericho encouraged him not to take it for granted as it was a tremendous accomplishment and referred to Hardy as a kind guy. Hardy currently wrestles for AEW promotion.
