Irrespective of what company CM Punk signs with, the Second City Saint will continue to be in the headlines. This time around, Punk is in the news because he made comments on why wrestlers can never make a union similar to what actors and writers have in Hollywood. Punk believes that a wrestlers’ union will never work because the wrestlers are stup*d and selfish.
While talking to 670 The Score, Punk answered questions about whether a union was possible in the wrestling world. The former AEW star made an audacious statement criticizing the wrestlers in the pro wrestling industry. He believes that their selfish nature becomes a hindrance and they could never reunite.
For professional wrestling. Yeah. Wrestlers should 100% have a union. Like grip hasn't been able to supplement their income in any other way. Yeah, wrestlers should 100% have a union. And I'll always say this and I mean it in the most loving way. Wrestlers will never unionize because wrestlers are stupid and selfish. It's just the way it is.CM Punk on 670 The Score

The former WWE champion said that there is always going to be someone ready to give in to whatever the promoter is asking for. Without taking any particular names, Punk fired at wrestlers from the WWE and AEW. Punk believes that wrestlers deserve more payment than what they are currently making. However, a union is not an option because the wrestlers will not stick together for each other.
Currently, Punk is on his way to the WWE, according to rumors. During the interview, Punk also commented on his potential return to WWE at the Survivor Series. He said that the show is currently sold out; therefore, it will be difficult to get tickets. Therefore, fans are speculating once again, if that means something, as the Survivor Series takes place in Punk’s hometown of Chicago.
AEW superstars wish CM Punk on his birthday
Despite his termination from AEW nearly two months ago, CM Punk continues to have a few friends in the company. Punk turned 45 on the 26th of this month with wishes from fans online. Among those were also wishes from some AEW superstars like Dax Harwood, Brody King, Buddy Matthews, Andrade, and Danhausen.

During his time in AEW, Punk formed a trio with Harwood and his partner Cash Wheeler, FTR. The trio, called CMFTR, had huge plans before Punk’s release. The former AEW Champion had also teased a feud with the House of Black on Collision. Therefore, a lot of matchups are incomplete due to Punk’s release following his altercation at All In London in August.

Fans will have to wait and see whether CM Punk returns to WWE after almost a decade after walking out in 2014. It is rumored that the former AEW star is expected to return to the company at the Survivor Series next month. The event takes place in Chicago, which would be an ideal place for Punk’s return, given that it is his hometown and Punk is treated like God in the city.
