CM Punk reunites with former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions and calls them kids of himself and AJ Lee

WWE Universe witnessed a fabulous NXT Deadline, which marks the last PPV of the year. Fans saw the surprise appearance of the Second City Saint, CM Punk. He engaged in a funny chat with the 2-time Hall of Famer, Shawn Michaels. It seems the Best in the World did more than just that segment as he engaged with many young talent backstage.
In the same current, he met the young female superstars and former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez. He took a picture with them and posted it on his Instagram story. He did so by calling them his and AJ Lee‘s children, making it an eye-catching post for the WWE Fans. To quote him:

For those who don’t know, Cora Jade is a big fan of CM Punk and considers him her childhood hero. On the other hand, the Prodigy has often been compared with AJ Lee for her seemingly cute demeanor and quick-paced wrestling style. It would be interesting to see if AJ Lee ever interacts with these two superstars.
CM Punk teases his Royal Rumble Entry
CM Punk delivered a stirring promo on Friday Night SmackDown where he took a lot of names against which he might stand up one day. Suddenly the thought of going for the road to WrestleMania emanated from his conversation. It was then, that fans got excited after he teased his entry into the Royal Rumble Match.
Entering the Royal Rumble would bring him face-to-face with 30 other men who have made their mark in WWE. Fans further get excited at the thought of seeing the Best in the World as the victor and headlining WrestleMania.
Winning the Royal Rumble and Main Eventing WrestleMania have always been those achievements that have always remained out of his grasp. Fans are eager to find out whether his return to WWE after 9 years, can change it for the better.
Punk also went on to give a Cody Rhodes reference as he talked about ‘finishing the story’. Both the superstars even left later that night and exchanged a handshake. It is perhaps an indicator that both of them respect each other’s WrestleMania dream.
