2024 has been a mind-boggling year. It has been an unexpected ride, as fans are unable to predict the future. One shocking mishap that happened this year was the injury to CM Punk. The Best in the World tore his triceps at the Royal Rumble and later announced his injury. Now, the Second City Saint has shared an update on his recovery through Instagram.
CM Punk simply posted a picture of his stitched tricep. It is a picture that was clicked after the surgery. It shows a healed-up look at the torn tricep of Punk. Besides, he underwent surgery a few days after he announced his time off on Raw. Moreover, it looks like he has been doing well at the moment, as he was seen at the gym as well.
It was at the Royal Rumble when the Second City Saint injured his triceps. During the match, Drew McIntyre went for a Future Shock DDT, which led to a botched landing that eventually hurt Punk badly. This injury is the reason for his absence from the road to WrestleMania XL in Philadelphia this year.
There has been a major update on Punk’s return to WWE, he might return to Raw after WrestleMania. Although it is just a rumor at the moment. Besides, there have been several dream matches for the Best in the World, which are in line after his return. CM Punk stated that for him, it is a mental battle more than a physical one. To reduce physical pain, he has been going through therapies. However, there has been a mental battle going on inside him. It is around him, missing WrestleMania XL this year. The Best in the World insisted that, for him, mental pain is a lot harder than physical pain.
