The Best in the World CM Punk has been an important part of WWE ever since he returned to the company at Survivor Series. The Second City Saint has had beef with many WWE superstars. The list also included the name of the A-Lister, The Miz. However, in the latest picture, the two stars can be seen hugging it out in a wholesome moment.

The picture is from the backstage area of the Royal Rumble after the match. CM Punk and The Miz can be seen hugging each other. It must be noted that this is when the Second City Saint knew he had torn his triceps. Therefore, it can be figured out that the A-Lister might be giving off some comfort to the Voice of the Voiceless for his injury.

Besides, the two stars had a beef sometime ago. It was about the Miz getting a main event spot at WrestleMania, whereas the Best in the World never did. This animosity developed among the two stars, which took years to simmer down. Now, it looks like they have mended fences with each other.

This is another clear hint that CM Punk is the changed person that he claims to be. However, he injured his triceps in the Royal Rumble match, which led to him calling off his WrestleMania aspirations for this year.

Drew McIntyre mocks CM Punk during a live event

When CM Punk returned to WWE, Drew McIntyre was one of the superstars who was not pleased with his comeback. In essence, when the Second City Saint announced his injury, McIntyre was seen expressing his delight all over social media. The animosity between the superstars took a new turn when the Scottish Warrior mocked Punk during a live event.

McIntyre entered the arena with CM Punk’s famous “clobberin’ time” gesture. He then went on to social media to inform the WWE Universe that he has been renaming his iconic future shock DDT in honor of CM Punk’s tricep injury. It needs to be noted that it was the same DDT that injured the Best in the World and prevented him from headlining the main event of WrestleMania.

The Scottish Warrior has been taking his rivalry with the Voice of the Voiceless to another level. It is turning out to be engrossing to see the rivalry heat up until CM Punk returns. Besides, it has been confirmed by Punk himself that he will be coming after the Scottish Warrior once he is fully recovered.
