WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes is having the time of his life. Rhodes has had some of the most incredible moments so far. Adding another feather to his cap, The American Nightmare adjudged a recent incident as the ‘top ten moment’ of his career.
During the latest episode of WWE Die Woche, Cody Rhodes spilled the beans. He recalled his press conference with Jey Uso, which went down at WWE Fastlane. The media event received widespread acclaim for the way Jey and Cody turned up for the presser. They were inebriated, and it led to an unprecedented experience for everyone.
Jey Uso was totally in his league, cavorting around the setup. Cody Rhodes tried to control himself and be the man to open up to media affiliates due to Main Event Jey’s intoxication. Summing up his unforgettable night, The American Nightmare had to say the following: “Well, afterwards, I told Jey, ‘That might have been a top ten moment of my career.”
Further, he said, “One of the things you can’t see in the press conference is that the media wasn’t really asking…they were just kind of oogling us, and they’re normally a little bit quicker with the questions. A lot of the humor and what was happening, we were just lingering on it.”
Jey and Cody made everyone laugh, and it was one of the most light-hearted press conferences to ever happen. It went so viral that WWE had to post an entire video of that part on their official YouTube channel. For sure, it was something the fans will look back on and cherish.

Cody Rhodes lost his title with Jey Uso on Raw
Heading into this week’s Monday Night Raw, Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso had momentum in their camps. They previously schooled Austin Theory and Grayson Waller on SmackDown to retain the Undisputed Tag Team titles. On Monday, the champs defended their gold against Finn Balor and Damian Priest.
The fortune did not favor the babyfaces, and they went down against The Judgment Day. During the clutch moments, Jimmy Uso played spoilsport as he decked Jey Uso out of nowhere. That was enough for Balor and Priest to seize the opportunity to regain the tag team titles. It marked Cody Rhodes’ fourth loss ever since returning to WWE last year. However, he has only been pinned once.
The American Nightmare expressed his dissatisfaction on social media. It appears like WWE’s obsession with keeping Cody Rhodes around The Judgment Day hasn’t met its destiny. It smells like this rivalry is going to continue till eternity.
