The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes was not in a great mood this Monday Night on Raw. The ire over Shinsuke Nakamura‘s mist throw unsettled Rhodes as he continued to suffer from his mind games. The persona was something that Cody carried through the show but displayed a distinct behavior after Raw went off-air. Rhodes’ humility was on display during that moment as he offered a fan a Christmas tree.

With The Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile in the ring, Cody came out to thank the audience in Des Moines. The duo stood in the ring and was patted on their back for their incredible performance against The Judgment Day. However, Rhodes’ showmanship took a steep turn when he showed his festive element and decided to give out a gift. The recipient of the gift would be the loudest member of the audience.

The fans even expected CM Punk as a part of the gift but were then made aware of his absence. The Prodigal Son stood in a black suit and asked the crowd to cheer loudly. Cody again walked the ramp and brought down the X-Mas tree in the ring to showcase it to the fans. But as he looked for the winner, a bunch of people in the front two rows pointed at a girl.

After conversing with The Creeds and Nile, Cody gave the task of selecting the fan to Ivy. It was no surprise that she chose the little girl and had the family take the tree. Rhodes showed his generosity and asked whether they had an SUV to take it away and allowed the security to pass on the gift.
