“Hell in a Cell with a torn tit”- WWE analyst can’t praise Cody Rhodes enough for the latter’s Sunday night feat
Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes
Sunday night saw a remarkable Hell in a Cell encounter between Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. Rhodes entered the ring with a torn pec. During the clash, his chest and right arm had gone purple, indicating a painful muscle injury.
According to a WWE statement, the 36-year-old American wrestler sustained a partially torn right pectoral tendon. It happened during his fight with Rollins on RAW last week. Then while carrying out his weightlifting exercises, Cody’s injury turned into a full rupture.
Rhodes’ rec cep and the underside of his right arm were dark purple-ish due to the injury, but he battled through it and delivered a 25-minute encounter with Rollins in the main event of the evening.
On seeing this level of determination from Cody, WWE analyst and SmackDown commentator Pat McAfee heaped praises on the wrestler.
During his YouTube show, McAfee said, “A man last night went into Hell in a Cell with a torn tit. Cody Rhodes went in there…a lot of people thought it was makeup, that’s what your body does when you tear your shit.
“Early, it looked like he was in a shit ton of pain. but he clicked into some of ‘I don’t give up fuck’ because unless they shot that thing up with everything you can shoot up with, which would hurt so bad, just the shooting up of it, a full Hell in a Cell match. They didn’t mail it in either. This shit was a full match. Seth Rollins lost to a guy with one fucking tit. I assume he’s getting surgery.”
He continued, “Congrats, Cody. That’ll be a toughness conversation fodder forever. Good for him.”

How much time till Cody Rhodes recovers?
To the relief of his fans, Rhodes expressed his willingness to compete in the Money in the Bank ladder match, which would happen in four weeks. However, if we listen to doctors, it is unlikely for Cody to be medically cleared to compete within such a short period. At the very least, it could take up to six months for the American Nightmare to fully heal from his injuries.
