Damien Priest changed his finisher recently after the return of Cody as both the wrestlers were using the same finisher with different names but after Cody’s return, Damien stopped using that move as he thinks Cody made that move famous and deserves to use that move more than himself.

During a recent interview, Damien Priest revealed that Cody’s return was not a primary reason as he wanted to change his finishing move for quite a time but when Rhodes returned on WrestleMania 38 it helped him to try new moves as a finisher and crowd reaction of either they like the move or they hated it.

Damien Priest is currently not using his old finisher and has shifted his finishing move towards Razor’s Edge or in a normal tone known as Crucifix Powerbomb. On the other hand, everybody is waiting for Cody Rhodes to return after the devastating injury he suffered and the surgery he is going through because of it.

Cody Rhodes is expected to return in the March of 2023 but still could make his comeback to the company in the WWE Royal Rumble 2023 where there is a chance of even him winning the whole thing and getting a title match at the next WrestleMania although all these are rumors but still could be true.
