Cody Rhodes spotted at the WWE warehouse ahead of his much-awaited return to the ring
Cody Rhodes in the WWE
Cody Rhodes was all set for glory after his return to the WWE at WrestleMania this year, but an unfortunate injury prior to the Hell in a Cell shattered his plans. Rhodes suffered a pectoral injury, which has put him out of action for months, with his expected return speculated to happen next year.
According to a recent Wrestling Observer Newsletter article, Cody was scheduled to return at the Day 1 Premium Live event, and his return was set to happen before the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event, but now that the Day 1 Premium Live event has been cancelled, we are unclear of his return.
As per Cody Rhodes’ Instagram stories, he was seen today at the WWE Ware house. Rhodes reportedly posted a picture of himself squinting at Triple H’s throne. It is unknown why Rhodes was in the Warehouse; perhaps he was there for a discussion about making a comeback to the WWE and happen to visit the war house at that time.
Cody Rhodes stated in a recent chat with TMZ that he has a spot in mind for his comeback. He added that this spot is similar to what his fans feel, and he hopes to make his comeback there. Rhodes said that the three months following his comeback were fantastic for him up until he tore his pec, and that he now longs to return to those times as soon as possible.

Mike Chioda, a former WWE official, recently during an appearance on the Universal Wrestling Podcast, discussed Cody Rhodes’ choice to quit AEW and join WWE. Given the amount of talent that AEW now boasts, he claimed that he was surprised to see Cody Rhodes return to the WWE.
The former Intercontinental Champion’s departure from the AEW and Tony Khan’s approval of it stunned him, the former WWE referee said. According to Chioda, things may have been out of control at the top long before Rhodes left the AEW.
The WWE has benefited from Cody Rhodes’ return because Rhodes has solidified his status as a greater star, as seen by the cheers the fans gave him upon his return at WrestleMania this year.
