Cody Rhodes was about to wrestle Sting before he left AEW

Cody Rhodes’s last match in the AEW was to be with pro wrestling legend Sting. The 38-year-old has a lot of respect for The Icon, and it would’ve been an honor for him to fight him. But it was not enough to convince The American Nightmare to stay with the AEW.
