On January 12, 2024, WWE hosted an NXT House Show in Florida. It featured a match between NXT’s Cora Jade and Lyra Valkyria. The two faced each other in the main event, which featured a botched finish. It has been reported that it was done for Jade, who suffered a knee injury, and was carried out after the match.
The photo posted shows the former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion being checked out by the referee and the medical staff. According to many fans, there was also a fake injury spot initially in the match. However, it was later revealed that Jade landed awkwardly on her leg and began limping.
Jade recently went through an appearance change and was prominently featured on television, which hinted towards a future title shot.
