The World Heavyweight Championship match between Seth Rollins and Finn Balor did not disappoint fans. The match was full of hits and moves that put fans in awe. Apart from the in-ring spectacle, the match was also filled with drama, as Mr. MITB Damian Priest started a new chapter in the book of The Judgment Day.
During the match, when Balor and Rollins were trying to destroy each other, Priest walked out, out of nowhere. This immediately caught the attention of both wrestlers involved. Priest teased cashing in his briefcase and making it a triple threat match, just like Rollins did in 2015. However, Seth Rollins was not at all scared of the challenge.
Surprisingly, Damian Priest did not cash in the briefcase at all. He just sat next to the ring, looking for an opportunity. However, Finn Balor found this unsettling. When Balor tried to attack Rollins with a Coup De Grace, Damian Priest tried to distract his stablemate. This gave Rollins a chance to capitalize on the situation and hit Balor with a curb stomp. Watch the video to see how Judgment Day started seeing cracks among its members.
Seth Rollins retained the championship as Finn Balor looked in surprise at his fellow Judgment Day member. After the match, the champion walked away from the ring with his title, but the focus stayed on Balor and Priest, who looked at each other. The two also exchanged heated words as Finn blamed Damian for costing him the match. Only time will tell how the story turns out for Judgment Day and the MITB briefcase.
