Dakota Kai was a prime staple of NXT’s black and gold era where he worked like a tireless performer delivering brilliant matches one after another and that too on a weekly basis. One of the most significant rivalries she had during that phase ironically came just before she was handed her WWE release and feud was against Raquel Rodriguez (was known as Raquel Gonzalez). They also became the NXT Women’s Tag Champs before the eventual downfall and split up. It was Dakota who decided to play the dirty way as she turned over the NXT Women’s Champion Raquel seemingly making her intentions to go after the gold crystal clear.
They had quite a personal rivalry over NXT television which was heavily appreciated by the WWE Universe but that wasn’t enough to rally Dakota Kai so that she could capture that NXT Women’s Title. Soon after, WWE released her from the company back in May last year.
Nobody thought that she would comeback in WWE ever again but the destiny wasn’t ready to accept that as she alongside IYO SKY (formerly as IO Shirai) and Bayley made her triumphant main-roster debut at this year’s Summerslam interrupting the Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair after the latter went through a grueling battle against Becky Lynch and successfully kept her title.
The following Monday on Raw, the trio of Bayley, SKY and Dakota Kai made their intentions known attacking Alexa Bliss, Belair and Asuka during their respective matches on the show. Next week, the babyfaces challenged the heels to a 6-Women Tag Match which got accepted by Bayley on behalf of her team for the mega UK event next month.

Dakota Kai has teased the possibility of bringing back the iconic War Games stipulation for their match
The Charlie Girl Dakota Kai seems very optimistic about possibly bringing back that brutal War games stipulation for their huge 6-women showdown at WWE Clash at the Castle in Cardiff next month. Kai expressed her wish by posting the graphic of their match on her Instagram story writing “I smell war….. and I’m game” over it. This particular statement has awaken the belief among many fans that Hunter could hear the desire of his Golden girl and who knows he might actually approve the idea if these women actually want to do this.
