Since R-Truth returned to the WWE, he has become more popular than ever. Whenever he is seen on the screen or in the ring, the WWE Universe always bursts out in laughter. His repetitive attempts to become a member of Judgment Day have elevated the level of the faction to a completely different level. The faction’s member, Damian Priest, recently opened up about his on-screen interactions with the veteran.

Damian Priest told Inside The Ropes how the comedic wrestler always finds a way to break anyone in laughter. Although it was Priest who insisted on getting Truth rally behind Judgment Day, he has appreciated the veteran’s work so far. He stated that the John Cena fanboy can make anybody break their character with his sense of humor.

The 52-year-old superstar somehow always returns to Judgment Day despite receiving a beatdown from their hands. He hilariously offered to tag himself to Dominik Mysterio in the Royal Rumble Match to entertain the WWE Universe. Also, the funny superstar cost JD McDanagh‘s match against The Miz by selling out the evil faction’s merchandise mid-match.

The Miz has been seen hanging around with Truth and accompanying and saving him whenever he gets a humiliating beatdown from Judgment Day. Considering their reunion, it looks like WWE is planning something special for the reunited tag team. Moreover, WWE might be building towards a match between Judgment Day and Awesome Truth for the Tag Titles at WrestleMania XL.

R-Truth costs Dominik Mysterio a spot in the Elimination Chamber Match

WWE is returning to Australia for the first time since 2018 to host Elimination Chamber: Perth. Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and Damian Priest are set to defend their Tag Titles against Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate. Meanwhile, Rhea Ripley will defend her Women’s World Championship against Nia Jax. JD McDonagh is not scheduled for any match, while Dominik Mysterio could have been until R-Truth got in his way.

On SmackDown this week, Dominik Mysterio faced Kevin Owens in a Chamber qualifying match. Truth, pulling off another comedic stunt by referring to Owens as Miz, got to ringside to help him out. “Dirty” Dom asked the former 24/7 Champion to bring a chair to steal the victory. The 2-time United States Champion brought the chair, but instead of helping, sat on it to observe the match, resulting in Owens picking up the win.

Therefore, Dominik finds himself out of the Elimination Chamber match. Ultimately, he lost the opportunity to bring more gold to Judgment Day. After being involved in a big match against his father, Rey Mysterio, at last year’s event, his Road to WrestleMania 40 seems uncertain.
